Welcome to my home page! I am excited to be back at school and to be working with your child this year.  I will write daily behavioral reports in your child's agenda, as well as any homework assignments.  If you have any questions you can write to me in the agenda or call me at the school.   

It is hard to believe we are halfway through the year already.

Here is what we have been doing:

Math: We have been working on polygons, perimeter and measurement.  We will be starting to send home weekly times table practice and will be having a times test each Friday.

Reading/Writing:  We are working on reading comprehension, scanning for information and rewording sentences.  We are writing state reports which will utilize these skills.  Students should be reading for 15 minutes a day.

Spelling:  We are working on prefixes and suffixes.  Students should be practicing their spelling words everyday.

Social Studies:  We are learning about early communities in this country.

Science:  We are learning about weathering and erosion.
